For businesses investing in solar energy, the key question is how much value their available space can generate. Vitrus is preparing to introduce the AIKO Stellar 2N+78 to Cyprus, giving commercial and industrial customers access to a new generation of high-power solar panels.
AIKO is listed by BloombergNEF as a Tier 1 solar module manufacturer, providing another point of reassurance for businesses evaluating a long-term solar investment.
The Stellar range offers 765 W to 800 W per panel, with module efficiency reaching 24.9%. This combination gives Vitrus greater flexibility when designing installations around a customer’s available space and electricity needs. On suitable sites, higher power output can support greater installed capacity, more solar generation and larger potential savings on electricity purchases.
The panel uses AIKO’s N-type ABC cell technology and a dual-glass, bifacial design. Its front surface captures direct sunlight, while its rear surface can generate additional electricity from reflected light. The amount of additional generation depends on the installation design and site conditions, which Vitrus evaluates as part of each project.
Performance over time is central to the commercial case for solar. The Stellar datasheet specifies a −0.26% per °C power temperature coefficient, a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty. It also specifies less than 1% performance degradation in the first year and less than 0.35% annually from years two to thirty.
For customers, panel specifications are only part of the decision. Vitrus combines technology selection with project-specific design and financial analysis, helping businesses assess expected electricity generation, potential savings and investment returns before committing to an installation.
